Unity Game Developer (WebGL & VR)

About the role

Design, develop, and test high‑quality Unity games for WebGL and VR, turning creative and business requirements into performant cross‑platform experiences. Collaborate with designers, artists, QA/DevOps and engage directly with clients to gather needs, run demos and deliver production‑ready builds.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web‑based games using Unity, targeting WebGL and VR platforms.
• Prototype and ship VR experiences from concept through demo to production.
• Own interaction design for XR, including locomotion comfort, haptics, audio spatialization and safety.
• Integrate visual and audio assets, implement game mechanics and UI, and optimise performance for browsers and standalone headsets.
• Debug, test and resolve technical issues, manage headset firmware/build deployment and maintain demo environments.
• Document game features, code and development processes while staying updated on emerging web‑game technologies.

Required profile

• UAE nationals are encouraged to apply.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C# programming for Unity development.
• Experience with Unity Engine workflows for WebGL and VR (Unity XRI).
• Knowledge of responsive and spatial design, rendering performance and optimisation.
• WebGL and VR build expertise, including size and compatibility management.
• VR deployment and hardware setup using ADB, device profiling and demo environment readiness.
• Testing and QA using CPU/GPU profiling, memory management and browser tools.
