About the role

The Sales Executive will drive used‑car sales and maximise revenue for the dealership. You will interact directly with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the entire purchasing process.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage potential customers, present available vehicles and recommend suitable options.
  • Use persuasive selling techniques to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and explaining pricing, financing and promotions.
  • Maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay current on automotive trends, vehicle specifications and dealership inventory.
  • Handle paperwork, negotiate pricing, arrange test drives and coordinate with finance and insurance teams.
  • Generate leads through referrals, online platforms and community events; follow up and convert them into sales.
  • Conduct market research, develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and inventory; prepare performance reports.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques through training.

Required profile

  • 1‑3 years of experience in automotive sales.
  • Proven track record as a Sales Executive or similar role in the automotive sector.
  • Minimum high school diploma; sales certifications or motor‑industry qualifications are a plus.
