Vendor / Category Manager – Dubai

About the role

Deliveroo Hop is a 24/7 digital supermarket delivering groceries and essentials in minutes. As a Vendor / Category Manager you will own the performance of a product category, shaping strategy through range selection, pricing, promotions and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Vendor Management Lead in selecting product ranges and setting pricing aligned with Deliveroo Hop’s value proposition.
• Nominate SKUs for promotional campaigns, monitor performance and optimise the assortment.
• Analyse category performance versus plan and implement actions to drive growth.
• Develop and manage relationships with local and international grocery suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, ensure compliance and resolve vendor disputes, including invoicing and payments.
• Collaborate with the in‑stock team to source new products and maintain inventory levels.
• Track market trends and competitor activity to identify new vendor and range opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor or category management, preferably in grocery or retail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Commercial orientation with a focus on growth and cost optimisation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (three days onsite in Dubai).
