Vendor Manager – Italian Speaker (Customer Service)

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Vendor Manager who will act as a Partner Performance Manager for its Customer Service outsourcing network. The role focuses on driving partner success, operational excellence and compliance while fostering an Amazonian culture with external vendors. Fluency in Italian is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Customer Service vendors to identify, analyse and solve problems.
• Manage end‑to‑end Customer Service operations with a strong customer‑obsession focus.
• Share operational and quality best practices across Amazon’s Customer Service network.
• Support contact‑center procurement activities, including vendor strategy, RFP administration and contract negotiation.
• Design and implement data‑privacy standards and governance in line with EU and global regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon security standards, create business continuity plans and project‑manage new implementations.
• Demonstrate ownership by rolling up sleeves to get things done.
• Travel internationally up to 30% of the time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering or marketing.
• Experience in contact‑center operations.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to anticipate needs.
• Excellent communication and influence skills across all organisational levels.
• Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Italian.
