Venue Sales Manager

About the role

Altea Agency is looking for a commercially driven Venue Sales Manager to expand its event‑venue portfolio in Dubai. You will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing relationships with corporate and private clients, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new venue‑hire leads and identify business development opportunities.
• Promote and sell the venue for corporate events, gala dinners, product launches, exhibitions, festivals, private events, and brand activations.
• Build strong relationships with event agencies, corporate clients, brands, wedding planners, and production companies.
• Respond to client enquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
• Conduct venue tours and showcase facilities and event possibilities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through negotiation, contracting, and booking confirmation.
• Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure feasibility.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales reports, forecasts, and follow‑up schedules.
• Achieve agreed revenue and booking conversion targets.
• Monitor the UAE events market and identify new sales opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of venue sales, hospitality sales, or event business development experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience selling event venues or event spaces.
• Existing network of corporate clients, event agencies, brands, and event planners.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Confidence in conducting venue tours and presenting commercial proposals.
• Good understanding of event operations, venue capacities, layouts, production, and venue requirements.
• Target‑driven, proactive, and capable of managing the complete sales process independently.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
