Veterinary Cardiologist & Ultrasound Specialist

About the role

KARE Veterinary Clinic is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced veterinary cardiologist and ultrasound specialist to deliver advanced, compassionate veterinary care. The role suits a dedicated professional with expertise in cardiac evaluation and diagnostic ultrasound.

Required profile

• Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
• Prior clinical experience in a small-animal or mixed-animal practice is strongly preferred.
• Experience in veterinary cardiology and diagnostic ultrasonography.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to mentor support staff where appropriate.
• Commitment to compassionate, low-stress handling of animals and adherence to animal welfare and safety best practices.

Required skills

• Clinical examination, medical diagnostics and treatment planning, including interpretation of laboratory results and imaging studies.
• Surgical procedures, anesthesia management and post-operative care for common soft-tissue and routine orthopedic surgeries.
• Clear, empathetic communication with patients and clients about conditions and treatment options.
• Organizational and record-keeping skills, including veterinary practice management software and digital medical records.
• Willingness to take part in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
