Veterinary Imaging Technician - Radiographer

About the role

Vet Alliance Group, part of Modern Vet, is expanding its diagnostic imaging team in Dubai. We are looking for a Veterinary Imaging Technician – Radiographer to perform high‑quality digital radiography and CT scans for animal patients. The role combines technical imaging expertise with animal handling in a fast‑paced referral centre.

Key responsibilities

• Perform digital radiography and CT examinations on animal patients.
• Prepare, position, and support patients during imaging procedures.
• Operate CT equipment, acquire scans, and reconstruct images.
• Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing repeat exposures.
• Upload and manage studies using PACS/RIS.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and conduct quality assurance checks.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report technical issues.
• Collaborate with veterinary specialists, nurses, and the clinical team.
• Participate in continuous professional development and veterinary imaging training.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of UAE experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably with digital radiography and CT.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Willingness to learn veterinary imaging techniques and work with animal patients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
