Vice President – Business Development, Wealth Management

About the role

Our client, a leading alternative investment firm, is looking for a Vice President – Business Development to drive the expansion of its wealth‑management distribution network across the GCC and selected international markets. Based in Dubai, the role will focus on building strategic partnerships with wealth managers, IFAs, private banks and family offices to raise capital for private credit and real estate strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement business‑development and capital‑raising plans to grow the firm’s global distribution footprint.
• Identify, engage and onboard licensed wealth‑management firms, IFAs, EAMs, private banks and family offices as distribution partners.
• Deliver product presentations, lead due‑diligence meetings and provide ongoing support to partners.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects using the firm’s CRM platform.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events and client meetings.
• Collaborate with investment, marketing, legal and compliance teams to support fundraising initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and uncover new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of business‑development, capital‑raising or relationship‑management experience within asset management, wealth management or alternative investments.
• Proven track record of establishing distribution partnerships and raising capital through wealth‑management channels.
• Existing network in the GCC private‑wealth market is highly desirable.
