Vice President – Capital Structure Solutions

About the role

Jefferies is expanding its Restructuring and Liability Management Advisory practice in the Middle East. The Vice President will lead complex restructuring, refinancing and distressed‑M&A transactions across the region, working directly with senior bankers and a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of restructuring, recapitalisation, liability management and distressed M&A mandates across the Middle East and EMEA.
• Manage all phases of transaction execution, including financial analysis, due diligence, stakeholder coordination and project management.
• Develop and review detailed financial models, liquidity analyses, business plans, capital‑structure assessments and valuation materials.
• Prepare client presentations, strategic reviews, board materials and transaction documentation of high quality.
• Collaborate with corporate clients, financial institutions, sovereign‑related entities, private‑equity sponsors and creditor groups.
• Support Managing Directors in business development, market coverage and origination activities.
• Identify new restructuring and special‑situations opportunities across the region.
• Mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and professional growth.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, financial advisory or a leading professional services firm.
• Proven transaction experience in restructuring, refinancing, liability management or distressed M&A.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to build and critique complex financial models.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of interacting with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
