Vice President, Centralized Payments

About the role

The Vice President, Centralized Payments will oversee all external vendor payments for the Mashreqbank Group entities and its overseas branches. The role also provides expertise for Oracle Payable & Fixed Assets implementation for new entities or branches.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payments to external suppliers and staff across Mashreqbank, Osool, Injaz, MIT, Mashreq Securities, Mashreq Capital, Mashreq Al Islami Finance and overseas branches (Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman).
• Administer accounting functions for the Injaz subsidiary, including statutory audit and preparation of audited financial statements.
• Ensure timely invoice processing, maintain TAT, and guarantee high internal customer satisfaction.
• Oversee accurate recording of transactions in Oracle Financials (Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger), HRMS, WPS, UAEFTS, I‑flex and related systems.
• Validate payment approvals, enforce authority delegation, prevent duplicate payments and ensure proper month‑end provisions and cost allocations.
• Drive automation of manual processes, develop specifications, coordinate UAT and support Oracle Accounts Payable implementation for new entities.

Required profile

• UAE National with Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance or centralized payment operations within banking or large financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory, banking and payments landscape.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in a centralized payments environment.
