Vice President, Credit Management

About the role

The Vice President, Credit Management will lead credit assessment and portfolio management for property financing across the UAE. Reporting to senior credit leadership, the role oversees a small team of analysts, ensures high‑quality underwriting, and supports business partners in structuring client facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse loan proposals against credit policies, produce detailed credit appraisal memos for underwriting.
• Approve credit requests within delegated authority and manage the allocated client portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring and delinquency tracking.
• Lead digitisation and automation initiatives within Group Credit, representing the function on project teams.
• Collaborate with senior business counterparts to structure facilities that meet client expectations while adhering to underwriting standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, maintain accurate documentation, and oversee MIS reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of credit and banking experience, preferably in property financing.
• Proven ability to lead a team of credit analysts and manage a high‑net‑worth client portfolio.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial statement analysis, ratio assessment and risk rating.
