Vice President, Financial Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Financial Operations will lead the Payment Operations function for a global CFD brokerage and cryptocurrency exchange. Reporting to the Head of Treasury & Accounting and the CFO, this senior leader will ensure timely, accurate, and cost‑effective processing of payments across multiple products, markets, and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor KPIs to guarantee on‑time, accurate payment processing.
• Improve payment success rates and reduce churn through strategic initiatives and optimized routing.
• Maintain PSP infrastructure to achieve 99.9% uptime per jurisdiction.
• Oversee reporting of payment expenses, PSP fees, and settlement costs.
• Manage PSP relationships, maintenance windows, and service changes.
• Drive automation of payment processes against quarterly targets.
• Mentor and manage a globally distributed Financial Operations team.
• Handle chargeback and dispute processing within SLA limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑risk payment operations in a senior role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to resolve complex issues independently.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop global, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously in a remote environment.
