Vice President, Group Category Management

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a senior executive to head its Group Category Management function. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Group Commercial Operations & Execution, the leader will shape category strategies that drive cost‑effective procurement and long‑term value across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement Group‑wide category management and market intelligence to achieve financial savings and strategic alignment.
• Establish cross‑functional category teams, defining sourcing levers, contracting models and supplier performance frameworks.
• Oversee tendering, commercial evaluation, contract management, change orders, claims and governance processes.
• Drive operational excellence, procurement capability development, stakeholder alignment and risk management.
• Continuously improve the procurement ecosystem to support ADNOC’s business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in contracts and procurement within a large Oil & Gas organization, including at least 10 years in progressive managerial roles.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver strategic sourcing outcomes.
