Vice President – Head of Middle & Back Office

About the role

The Vice President, Head of Middle & Back Office will act as the operational backbone for FAB Asset Management, overseeing end‑to‑end middle and back‑office functions across all investment products. This senior leader ensures data integrity, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance while driving automation and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee trade execution support and the full post‑trade life cycle for funds and DPM portfolios, including capture, confirmation, settlement and corporate actions.
• Maintain the integrity of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR), Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) and Order Management System (OMS) through daily reconciliations and system updates.
• Lead fund accounting oversight, NAV review, pricing controls, expense accruals and tax/fee processing.
• Drive product development and fund launches, managing service‑provider onboarding, account opening and post‑launch stabilization.
• Govern outsourced service providers, enforce SLAs, KPIs and regulatory standards (CMA, SCA).

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in investment operations, middle and back‑office within asset management or regulated financial services.
• Proven track record of managing outsourced providers, product launches and front‑to‑back platform implementations.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with front‑to‑back platforms such as SimCorp One, BlackRock Aladdin or Charles River.
• Hands‑on knowledge of IBOR, ABOR and OMS data flows.
• Data governance, automation and AI application in operational processes.
