Vice President – Investment Product Specialist (Middle East)

About the role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President to lead the iDirect funds series across the Middle East. Reporting to the Head of International, iDirect in Hong Kong, the role focuses on business development, sales, and advisor education for private banks, family offices, and wealth management platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive consultative sales to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
• Promote iDirect offerings in private equity, private credit, hedge funds and future products.
• Travel to key markets to meet gatekeepers, advisors, industry bodies and end‑clients.
• Plan and execute roadshows, conferences and client‑facing events.
• Collaborate with regional Client Solutions teams on pitches, product positioning and sales campaigns.
• Utilise technology and reporting tools to support sales management activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years in the alternative investment industry in a client‑facing role (e.g., investor relations, placement agent, fund‑of‑funds).
• Self‑starter with a rigorous sales process and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong team orientation, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, especially in cross‑border, small‑team settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Local regulatory licensing is required; relevant language skills are a plus.
