Vice President – Investor Services / Transfer Agency

About the role

The Vice President – Investor Services / Transfer Agency will join Maples Group’s Funds Team in Dubai, supporting a portfolio of global hedge funds, private equity firms and corporate clients. This senior position combines client relationship management, operational oversight and compliance leadership within a fast‑growing financial services hub.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, reviewing offering and subscription documents and providing operational comments.
• Coordinate client acceptance and onboarding, liaising with investors, investment managers, directors, lawyers and third‑party service providers across jurisdictions.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, risk and operational policies; identify gaps in internal controls and work with the RTA group to mitigate exposure.
• Lead and mentor staff, providing guidance to deliver tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Support training initiatives and contribute to project work as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in investor services, transfer agency or related financial services.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities in a high‑pressure environment.
• In‑depth technical knowledge of fund structures and transfer agency processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
