Vice President, Operations & Maintenance

About the role

KBR is seeking a strategic Vice President of Operations & Maintenance to lead world‑class asset management across large industrial facilities in the Middle East and emerging markets. The role combines high‑level business development with hands‑on oversight of maintenance programmes, ensuring reliability, safety and sustainability throughout the asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure high‑value O&M opportunities, building strategic alliances with governments and key clients.
• Develop and execute comprehensive O&M strategies, integrating maintenance with commissioning and operations phases.
• Drive adoption of predictive and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
• Oversee asset integrity, reliability engineering and digital monitoring systems.
• Establish governance for maintenance planning, spare‑parts management and contractor oversight.
• Implement sustainability initiatives, including energy‑efficiency and emissions‑reduction measures.
• Ensure compliance with global safety standards and local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in operations, maintenance or asset management within large‑scale industrial environments.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑disciplinary teams and delivering growth in complex markets.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
