Vice President – Restructuring & Capital Structure Solutions

About the role

Jefferies is expanding its Dubai team and seeks an experienced Vice President to lead complex restructuring, liability management and special situations transactions across the Middle East, North Africa and broader EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of restructuring, refinancing, recapitalisation, liability management and distressed M&A mandates.
• Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including financial analysis, stakeholder coordination, due diligence and project management.
• Develop and review detailed financial models, liquidity analyses, business plans, capital structure assessments and valuation materials.
• Prepare high‑quality client presentations, strategic reviews, board materials and transaction documentation.
• Support Managing Directors in business development, market coverage and origination activities.
• Identify and evaluate new restructuring and special‑situations opportunities across the region.
• Mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with legal advisers, accounting firms, lenders, investors and other external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, financial advisory or a leading professional services firm.
• Strong transaction experience in restructuring, special situations, leveraged finance, debt advisory or corporate finance.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical abilities.
• Deep understanding of debt products, capital structures, credit markets and restructuring solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute transactions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience interacting with senior management teams and boards.
