Vice President - Tendering

About the role

The Vice President – Tendering will lead the end‑to‑end tendering cycle for major real‑estate and construction projects, from RFP creation through contractor appointment. Reporting to senior procurement leadership, the role ensures compliance with Aldar’s policies, legal standards and market best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage the full tendering process, including pre‑qualification, RFP development, bid evaluation and contract finalisation.
• Review and update scope templates and tender documentation to align with current laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain a classified database of consultants, contractors and service providers based on expertise and performance.
• Collaborate with project users to develop detailed scopes of work and procurement strategies.
• Oversee technical and commercial bid openings, conduct clarifications, and lead negotiations to secure best value.
• Coordinate site visits, pre‑bid meetings and liaise with legal, finance and cost estimation teams.
• Perform spend analysis and market research to drive innovative and cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering and procurement within the construction or real‑estate sector.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or senior leadership position.
• Proven track record of managing full procurement cycles through ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contract terms and local regulatory frameworks.
