Vice President UAE Technical Services

About the role

As Vice President of UAE Technical Services, you will lead dnata's technical services function across its Dubai and Al Maktoum airport operations. Based at the Dubai headquarters, you will shape strategy, drive safety and efficiency, and support both passenger and cargo services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Technical Services strategy aligned with dnata’s objectives.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead end‑to‑end management of the GSE fleet, optimizing utilisation, maintenance standards and total cost of ownership.
• Own financial performance of the function, including budgeting, cost control and revenue generation.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance performance, service reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support dnata’s environmental strategy through fleet transformation and alternative‑fuel initiatives.
• Promote innovation by testing and deploying autonomous ground‑handling technologies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technical services, maintenance or ground handling environments.
• Strong track record of managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that deliver measurable results.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with regulators, OEMs and internal partners.
