Vision Systems Architect – Dubai

About the role

The Vision Systems Architect will own the end‑to‑end vision and AI architecture for consumer devices, driving scalable, power‑efficient, production‑ready imaging and perception systems across product lines in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the full vision pipeline (sensor → ISP → CV/ML → application layer) and translate product/UX requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect reusable, modular CV/ML frameworks, drive system‑level trade‑offs (performance, power, cost, thermal) and set KPIs such as latency, FPS, power, memory and robustness.
• Lead technology selection for inference engines, frameworks and hardware platforms, guide SoC bring‑up and performance validation, and establish coding standards and modularization strategy.
• Mentor senior engineers, provide architectural governance and contribute to the long‑term AI roadmap across product generations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (PhD preferred); 10‑15+ years experience in imaging/vision/perception systems.
• Proven track record of architecting and shipping multiple consumer products with vision/AI, strong cross‑functional leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Expert‑level C++ and system‑level optimization.
• Deep knowledge of imaging pipeline (sensor behavior, ISP, tuning impact).
• Embedded system architecture and heterogeneous compute (CPU/GPU/NPU/DSP) integration.
• Computer vision and machine learning system integration, including deployment of optimized ML models on consumer SoCs.
• Experience with AI model lifecycle, OTA updates, and performance validation of vision pipelines.
