Visual Merchandising Specialist – Retail Space Optimisation

About the role

The Visual Merchandising Specialist will drive retail space optimisation and store layout planning across BinSina Pharmacy’s network. Acting as a bridge between data, design and project execution, you will ensure every store is commercially effective, brand‑compliant and customer‑friendly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Space Matrix and Master Space Matrix for all stores.
• Develop store layouts, floor plans and space‑planning documents using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Support store openings, closures and refurbishments from concept to on‑site handover.
• Conduct regular space reviews to improve sales density, category adjacencies and customer flow.
• Prepare project trackers, BOQs, CAPEX feasibility reports and budget summaries in Excel.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Manage screen content planning for UAE and Oman stores.
• Assist the VM Manager in implementing visual merchandising guidelines and brand standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design or related field (diploma considered with strong experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, space planning or retail design, preferably in pharmacy, health & beauty or FMCG.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Advanced Excel for trackers, budgets and data management.
• Experience with Space Matrix tools.
• Understanding of CAPEX or project budgeting.
