Waiter/Waitress – Farriers Restaurant

About the role

The Waiter/Waitress at Farriers Restaurant will be a key member of the front‑of‑house team, delivering warm, professional service to guests throughout their dining experience. You will greet guests, take and serve orders accurately, and help maintain an inviting atmosphere that reflects the luxury standards of The Meydan Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly, prepare tables and ensure comfort upon arrival and departure.
• Introduce menus and specials, take accurate orders and enter them into the ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, following the correct sequence of service and hotel standards.
• Address dietary or allergy requirements and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
• Handle payments and guest charges with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness, polish glassware and utensils, and perform opening and closing procedures for the assigned area.
• Assist with inventory management, monitor par stock, and report any discrepancies in food and beverage costs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with HACCP standards.
