Waiter/Waitress – Greek Restaurant Noia by the Pool

About the role

We are seeking a professional waiter/waitress to join Noia – our Greek restaurant by the pool at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional dining experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well‑served in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the Greek menu, ingredients and preparation methods to advise guests confidently.
• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders, respecting dietary requirements and special requests.
• Provide personalised, attentive service throughout the dining experience, upholding Mandarin Oriental’s brand standards.
• Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing, billing and cash handling.
• Set and clear tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
• Manage multiple tables simultaneously while preserving service quality.
• Support upselling initiatives and collaborate with other outlets to create memorable guest experiences.

Required profile

• High school qualification preferred; a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in high‑volume or luxury dining environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
