Waiter/Waitress – Hotel Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and punctual Waiter/Waitress to join the food‑and‑beverage team at Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate Hotels. The role involves serving guests in the restaurant and banquet areas, handling cash transactions and beverage service, and supporting the smooth operation of functions and daily dining services.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty on time, wearing the correct uniform, name badge and palm pin.
• Set up and break down function rooms, including table settings, according to hotel standards.
• Serve food and beverages with high quality service, following departmental procedures.
• Perform cashiering duties and dispense beverages as directed by Banquet Management.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and security of service and storage areas.
• Report any guest complaints, incidents or deviations from standards to the manager.
• Assist other F&B outlets during peak periods and support work‑simplification initiatives.

Required profile

• Average proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and able to adhere to uniform standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hotel environment and collaborate with team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic food‑and‑beverage product knowledge.
• Dispensing of beverages.
