About the role
Girl & the Goose is seeking enthusiastic waitstaff to join its premium casual dining team in Dubai. You will be the face of the restaurant, welcoming guests, sharing the story behind each Central American dish, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and guide them through the menu.
- Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar for timely service.
- Share the story behind dishes, recommend specials and pairings, and apply upselling techniques.
- Check on tables proactively, address concerns professionally, and maintain a clean service area.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and follow company procedures.
- Support teammates during busy periods to ensure seamless service.
Required profile
- Friendly, upbeat personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with diverse international guests.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and calm under pressure.
