Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing logistics and import‑export company operating across the UAE, looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our expanding regional distribution network. The role is hands‑on, physical and requires attention to detail to keep the warehouse running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, damage and documentation accuracy.
• Organize, label and store inventory using barcode scanning and the warehouse management system.
• Pull, pack and stage outbound orders, ensuring correct SKUs and quantities for dispatch.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized aisles, follow safety protocols and operate material handling equipment responsibly.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies for inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with logistics and dispatch teams to meet daily shipping targets and resolve bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment.
• Basic computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel for data entry and sorting.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA or equivalent) is a plus.
• Preference for experience in FMCG or retail distribution.
• Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.

Required skills

• Operation of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use of barcode scanners.
• Forklift or pallet jack operation (certification preferred).
• Inventory counting and stock rotation methods (FIFO/LIFO).
• Basic Microsoft Excel (data entry & sorting).
