Warehouse Operative

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Dubai as a Warehouse Operative, supporting the smooth flow of goods across our international network. Working under supervision, you will handle receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing items while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, scan and verify items against shipment records.
• Sort, label, and store goods to optimise warehouse space.
• Inspect items for damages or defects and update records accordingly.
• Pack items for shipment following specifications and transportation methods.
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift trucks and hi‑rise equipment to move, stack, and load materials.
• Use handheld scanners to log inbound and outbound movements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for pick‑up schedules, transshipment, and inventory control.
• Support order fulfilment, respond to enquiries on inventory levels and delivery schedules, and resolve recurring delivery issues.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail when verifying and documenting goods.
• Physical capability to handle repetitive material handling tasks.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (gas or electric powered).
• Scanner operation for tracking shipments.
