Warranty & Product Support Specialist – Engineering

About the role

The Warranty & Product Support Specialist – Engineering will ensure that Emirates maximises the benefits of its aircraft, engine and system contracts. You will provide visibility across engineering business groups and drive optimisation of maintenance costs throughout the product life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and negotiate warranty and product support issues across the Emirates fleet, liaising with internal departments and suppliers.
• Qualify work completed under warranty and guarantees, raise claims in line with contracts, and manage daily transactional warranty functions.
• Review contractual terms and remedies from new contract matrices and aircraft/engine commitment letters, establishing processes for implementation.
• Ensure team members understand warranty scope, product support elements and contractual remedies.
• Escalate technical issues to the Warranty Engineer, approve scrap workflow within authority limits, and provide comments based on contractual provisions.
• Analyse and enhance product support terms offered by suppliers to align with industry standards.
• Review commercial and support terms related to product design, regulatory requirements and OEM directives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on upcoming maintenance programmes and assess limitations of existing contractual setups.

Required profile

• Strong experience in evaluating and negotiating warranty and product support contracts for aircraft, engines or related systems.
• Ability to qualify warranty work, raise claims and manage daily warranty transactions.
• Proficiency in reviewing contractual terms, defining processes and communicating them to cross‑functional teams.
• Capability to highlight technical issues, approve scrap workflows and provide contractual guidance.
• Analytical mindset to enhance supplier product support terms and align them with industry standards.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers on maintenance programmes and contractual limitations.
