Water Quality & ALSS Manager

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Water Quality & ALSS Manager to lead the Water Quality and Animal Life Support Systems (ALSS) function within its zoological department. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operation of water treatment and life‑support equipment that underpins the theme park’s attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of automated life‑support control systems and water‑treatment facilities, including software, hardware and supporting equipment.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive, corrective and major maintenance activities for ALSS equipment.
• Develop and manage the section’s budget in collaboration with Animal Habitats leadership.
• Monitor training, competency and certification of all team members in the ALSS area.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and departmental regulations for all life‑support and water‑treatment systems.
• Create, update and enforce SOPs, checklists, forms and related documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in water‑quality management, wastewater treatment or related fields.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills, with a track record of managing technical staff.
• Ability to work with regulatory bodies and ensure strict compliance.
• Experience budgeting and resource planning for large‑scale technical operations.
