Web Programmer / Developer

About the role

The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government is seeking a skilled Web Programmer to update, develop, and maintain its official website and related online platforms. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to translate system requirements into functional web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the MBRSG website with fresh content and analytical reports.
• Gather requirements, draft detailed specifications, and define project timelines.
• Conduct system analysis, recommend architecture, and oversee implementation.
• Integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image assets using pre‑built templates.
• Support existing infrastructure and develop a new CMS for easy content management.
• Create and execute test routines across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Collaborate with external vendors to enhance website functionality.
• Develop custom in‑house applications and scripts using PHP and ASP.NET.
• Provide Swift development for iOS/OS X applications and ensure backend integration.
• Back up website data and deliver technical training to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web programming or development.
• UAE nationality required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong experience with PHP and ASP.NET.
• Object‑oriented programming and web application development.
• CMS design and implementation.
• Testing across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Swift development for iOS and macOS.
• Understanding of security best practices.
