Welder – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team on oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform welding tasks on metal components and structures, ensuring high quality and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metal components according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, and conduct routine checks and tests.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including machines, torches, and protective gear.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to resolve welding‑related issues and ensure timely project completion.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder in the oil and gas industry, preferably on large‑scale projects.
• Relevant welding certifications such as AWS or ASME are advantageous.
