About the role
NMDC Energy PJSC is seeking an experienced Welding Superintendent to lead the offshore welding operations. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, reliability, and efficient execution of all welding activities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, guide and monitor Welding Supervisors and Foremen on a daily basis.
- Ensure overall safety and reliability of equipment and crew.
- Manage the efficient planning and execution of welding activities offshore.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural, piping and pipeline welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, API 1104, DNV OS-F 101).
- Ability to read and interpret welding procedure specifications, inspection plans and radiography films.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Required skills
- SMAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW (inner shield), STT welding processes.
- Welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, CRA clad steel and other alloys.
- Interpretation of client specifications and welding standards.
