Workshop Supervisor – Heavy‑Duty Truck Service

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our heavy‑duty truck service team in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees daily workshop operations, ensuring maintenance, servicing and repairs are performed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations for heavy‑duty truck maintenance, servicing and repair.
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on workload, priority and expertise.
• Monitor job progress, identify delays and take corrective action.
• Support achievement of labour and parts sales targets, including revenue and gross margin.
• Review and approve repair and service reports for accuracy and quality.
• Conduct quality checks on completed jobs to ensure standards are met.
• Guide technicians on complex diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise, train and support workshop staff including mechanics, service advisors and apprentices.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports and communicate status to the Service Manager.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years experience in workshop operations, truck maintenance or repair.
• Proven experience supervising technicians, mechanics, service advisors or apprentices.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, quality checks, repair processes and workshop safety standards.
