Workshop Technician – Cabin (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Cabin Workshop Technician as part of its Emiratisation programme. The role involves performing maintenance, calibration, surface finishing and painting tasks on Emirates and third‑party aircraft, components, tools and equipment in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, calibration, modification and approved structural repairs on aircraft components and tools.
• Interpret and follow Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues and other technical documentation.
• Assist supervisors and engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification and modification tasks.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas, ensuring FOD‑free zones and proper housekeeping.
• Audit and maintain toolboxes, stands and lockers to meet safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of relevant experience in aircraft cabin maintenance or a similar technical field.
• Ability to work under the direction of a supervisor or engineer and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
