About the role

The AI Expert will lead cutting‑edge research and drive digital innovation initiatives for the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation (AIDI). This role translates advanced AI technologies into real‑world solutions that support government transformation, smart services, and industry advancement across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Lead impactful AI research projects aligned with national AI strategy.
• Develop and implement AI‑driven solutions for priority sectors such as healthcare, education, and government services.
• Foster collaboration between academia, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Contribute to capacity‑building programs and national AI policy frameworks.
• Secure research funding and manage interdisciplinary innovation labs.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
• Proven record of high‑quality research publications.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in real‑world contexts.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.
• Preferred experience with government or industry digital transformation projects and research grant acquisition.
