Aircraft Maintenance Instructor – Airframe & Powerplant

About the role

The Aircraft Maintenance Instructor will deliver and help develop training programmes that enhance the technical skills of aviation maintenance personnel. You will conduct classroom and platform‑based instruction, assess trainee performance and ensure training materials remain current and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction on aircraft maintenance fundamentals, safety, inspection, technical publications, aircraft systems and components, and aviation regulations.
• Collaborate with course developers to supply technical information and guide curriculum design.
• Review, assist in developing, and revise courses using the SAT or ADDIE systems‑approach.
• Prepare and deliver program syllabi and platform‑specific classes, adapting to varying trainee knowledge levels.
• Conduct intermediate and final assessments, document results and analyse trends to improve training.
• Maintain accurate trainee records and coordinate with other instructors.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Training Supervisor or Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience teaching technical maintenance material for aircraft, engines or major components in a manufacturer, military or civilian environment.
• Strong communication skills, ability to foster teamwork and lead by example.
• Attention to detail in maintaining training records and course documentation.
