Area Director of Finance for Luxury Hotel Cluster

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee the financial operations of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab while providing strategic oversight for Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi, J Clubs and Oasis Village. The role partners with senior business leaders to drive profitability, financial excellence and sustainable growth across these iconic assets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the cluster’s financial strategy to support revenue growth, cost efficiency and long‑term profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Partner with GMs and department heads to align decisions with financial performance metrics and ROI targets.
• Drive financial transformation projects using digital tools and BI systems for real‑time insights.
• Lead annual budgets, 5‑year plans, rolling forecasts and deliver monthly performance reviews, variance analysis and business dashboards.
• Manage KPI tracking, productivity monitoring and profitability optimisation.
• Develop long‑term capital investment and asset maintenance strategies, conduct feasibility studies and ROI reviews.
• Oversee FF&E reserves, CAPEX budgets and owner reporting.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal control frameworks and local regulations; lead internal and external audits.
• Enhance automation, reporting accuracy and financial control systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ hospitality finance experience, with at least 2 years in a cluster or area role.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in finance or strategy is a plus.
• Exposure to Middle‑East hospitality markets.
