Assistant Financial Controller (Junior) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Assistant Financial Controller (Junior) will support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial planning, analysis, reporting and compliance for TÜV SÜD Middle East in Abu Dhabi. The role combines day‑to‑day budgeting, forecasting and month‑end reporting with strategic financial modelling to aid business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Track, report and analyse budget variances on a regular basis.
• Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate and local regulations.
• Prepare month‑end management reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Develop and maintain financial models and cash‑flow projections for new initiatives.
• Forecast future financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department managers to develop and monitor budgets.
• Ensure adherence to TüV SÜD corporate procedures and government regulations.
• Leverage updated technologies and enterprise systems to streamline operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, with CPA or CA certification preferred.
• 5‑7 years of experience in senior‑level business and financial analysis, preferably within a large organisation.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High proficiency in SAP, MS Office and large‑scale enterprise solutions.
