About the role

Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to join its Clinical Psychology and Mental Health programme. The role combines teaching, research, and community engagement to develop future mental‑health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering abnormal psychology, clinical assessment, counseling, and psychotherapy.
• Supervise student research projects and practicum placements.
• Support curriculum development and introduce innovative teaching practices.
• Conduct scholarly research with a strong focus on publishing in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Mentor students and contribute to academic and administrative service.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives that promote mental‑health awareness in the UAE.

Required profile

• Full‑time Assistant Professor position within the College of Health Sciences.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Active research agenda with a record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Willingness to engage in academic service, accreditation activities, and professional collaboration at national and international levels.
