Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

This is an inbound Business Development Representative position with a fast‑growing private‑equity backed e‑commerce group. You will engage directly with investors, high‑net‑worth individuals, founders and e‑commerce operators who have already shown interest, acting as the first point of contact in the revenue engine.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery calls with founders, investors and operators in the e‑commerce space.
• Qualify inbound interest and identify genuine commercial opportunities.
• Understand growth challenges across revenue, operations and scaling.
• Handle objections and drive early‑stage deal momentum.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and closing teams on deal progression.
• Continuously improve qualification processes, messaging and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Proven BDR/SDR experience in SaaS, B2B, high‑ticket or performance‑driven environments.
• Exposure to e‑commerce, DTC, agency or digital sectors is a strong advantage.
• Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders such as founders, investors and operators.
• Strong discovery and qualification abilities.
• Commercially sharp, driven and competitive mindset.
