Development Engineer – Avionics

About the role

The Development Engineer – Avionics is responsible for managing and executing the development engineering function for aircraft avionics, instruments, software and inventory within a Presidential Flight environment. The role ensures that all equipment is maintained and modified to the highest standards while supporting safe, cost‑effective operations in line with PF and aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development engineering activities for avionics, instrument and software systems on Presidential Flight aircraft.
• Maintain and modify avionics equipment to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee inventory management for avionics components.
• Ensure compliance with PF and aviation regulations throughout all engineering work.
• Coordinate with maintenance and flight departments on major projects and modifications.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical, Electronic or Avionics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Development Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience on a specific Presidential Flight aircraft type.
• Strong communication skills and ability to systematize cases.
• Desirable: experience in a large airline engineering department, senior supervisory roles, and work on VIP aircraft.
