Digital Application Operations Engineer

About the role

The Digital Application Operations Engineer ensures the stability, availability, and performance of all digital applications across the organization. This role drives proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement to keep services reliable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain end‑to‑end operational stability, availability, and performance of applications, web services, APIs, CRM and ERP systems.
• Implement and manage proactive monitoring using enterprise tools such as Dynatrace and ManageEngine.
• Detect service degradation early, initiate corrective actions, and prevent business impact.
• Define observability metrics, thresholds, and alerts aligned with business KPIs.
• Lead major incident response, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive remediation to closure.
• Act as production gatekeeper for changes, releases, and deployments, enforcing governance controls.
• Own disaster recovery plans, runbooks, and continuity procedures.
• Identify sub‑optimal solutions and champion their transformation into resilient, scalable services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital application operations or similar IT operations roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Commitment to governance, audit closure, and continuous improvement.
