Director of Communications (Arabic & English)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the UAE to recruit an Arabic‑speaking Director of Communications. This senior, high‑impact position will shape and execute a comprehensive communications strategy across a diverse portfolio of brands, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy for internal and external audiences.
• Build and protect corporate reputation through proactive storytelling, media engagement and strategic positioning.
• Draft corporate messaging, press releases, statements and talking points for senior executives.
• Lead internal communications to strengthen culture, alignment and employee engagement across all entities.
• Advise senior leadership and editorial teams on media engagement, issues management and executive visibility.
• Supervise and mentor a team of communications professionals, ensuring quality and strategic alignment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in strategic communications within a complex, multi‑brand environment.
• Proven record of delivering impactful communications strategies in both English and Arabic.
• Deep understanding of the media landscape in the UAE and the wider MENA region.
• Experience managing teams and collaborating with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
