Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead the HR and Learning & Development function for Park Hyatt Dubai, partnering closely with the hotel leadership team. This senior role focuses on aligning culture, talent, and performance with Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people so they can be their best.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver an inspirational onboarding experience that reflects Hyatt’s brand and culture.
• Protect, strengthen and promote Hyatt’s culture, purpose and values to improve engagement metrics year over year.
• Coach and develop leaders, ensuring succession readiness and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Lead HR process reviews to improve efficiency and align priorities with the brand.
• Partner with regional teams on leadership development, succession planning and talent reviews.
• Act as primary HR operations contact for day‑to‑day issues, colleague relations and engagement initiatives.
• Oversee compliance training, industry award submissions and community‑focused Hyatt Care initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior HR leadership within hospitality or a comparable service‑focused industry.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and mentor to senior leaders.
• Strong track record of building high‑performing teams and driving employee engagement.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent development, succession planning and organizational change.
• Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of Hyatt’s purpose and brand values.
