Director of Wellness – Hong Kong

About the role

This newly created senior leadership position is based in the Hong Kong Corporate Office of a globally recognised hospitality group. The Director of Wellness will shape and advance the Group’s global wellness platform across hotels, private clubs and integrated guest experiences, positioning wellness as a core brand pillar.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own and continuously evolve the Group’s global wellness strategy to stay ahead of guest expectations, market trends and scientific developments.
• Steward a scalable, adaptable wellness operating model that delivers commercial relevance across the portfolio.
• Integrate wellness into the brand value proposition, extending beyond spa to lifestyle, longevity, recovery and holistic experience design.
• Oversee development and refinement of offerings across resilience, recovery, renewal and restoration pillars, ensuring programmes are preventative, personalised and data‑informed.
• Translate medical, longevity and therapeutic advances into hospitality‑appropriate experiences while maintaining brand credibility.
• Establish and govern global wellness standards and service frameworks, balancing consistency with controlled innovation.
• Own commercial performance – revenue growth, utilisation, guest engagement and margin sustainability – and assess ROI, capital deployment and resource allocation.
• Partner with Guest Experience, Food & Beverage, Brand Marketing and Operations to embed wellness throughout the guest journey.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in wellness, hospitality or related sectors with a proven track record in strategy development and commercial delivery.
• Deep understanding of wellness trends, preventative health, longevity and experience‑driven hospitality.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into scalable operating models and guest‑centric experiences.
• Strong commercial acumen, including P&L management, ROI analysis and investment decision‑making.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required and to reside in Hong Kong.
