E‑Commerce Sales Specialist

About the role

The E‑Commerce Sales Specialist will support Emirates' direct sales strategy by enhancing the Emirates.com platform, driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance sales features on Emirates.com to generate incremental revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyse customer behaviour to refine business strategies and meet online sales targets.
• Collaborate with Commercial departments to gather insights on e‑commerce development needs, functionalities and data requirements.
• Provide analytical support for identifying business opportunities and improving conversion of airline and ancillary sales.
• Facilitate integration of the Internet Booking Engine with Skywards, enabling value‑added services such as miles‑plus‑cash payments.
• Oversee management reporting on internet sales, ensuring accurate tracking and data‑driven insights.
• Conduct competitor research to identify features and enhancements for the booking engine.
• Compare pricing with benchmark websites to recommend fare adjustments where needed.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sales, preferably within online sales and distribution.
• Strong knowledge of internet distribution practices and regulatory environments.
• Experience in commercial research and analysis.
• Proficiency with analytical tools is highly advantageous.
