About the role
The E‑Commerce Sales Specialist will support Emirates' direct sales strategy by enhancing the Emirates.com platform, driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction across digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance sales features on Emirates.com to generate incremental revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyse customer behaviour to refine business strategies and meet online sales targets.
- Collaborate with Commercial departments to gather insights on e‑commerce development needs, functionalities and data requirements.
- Provide analytical support for identifying business opportunities and improving conversion of airline and ancillary sales.
- Facilitate integration of the Internet Booking Engine with Skywards, enabling value‑added services such as miles‑plus‑cash payments.
- Oversee management reporting on internet sales, ensuring accurate tracking and data‑driven insights.
- Conduct competitor research to identify features and enhancements for the booking engine.
- Compare pricing with benchmark websites to recommend fare adjustments where needed.
Required profile
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sales, preferably within online sales and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of internet distribution practices and regulatory environments.
- Experience in commercial research and analysis.
- Proficiency with analytical tools is highly advantageous.
