Family Counseling Specialist

About the role

The Family Counseling Specialist provides professional family counseling and youth awareness services in Dubai, aiming to strengthen family cohesion, support social stability, and improve wellbeing through targeted programs and community initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct family counseling sessions to diagnose issues, set objectives and empower clients.
• Prepare comprehensive case studies covering family, financial, educational, occupational, health and environmental aspects.
• Design and implement guidance and intervention plans based on social, personal and humanitarian needs.
• Rebuild healthy family relationships and promote client self‑dependence.
• Follow up on cases, coordinate with external entities and refer to relevant authorities when required.
• Enroll clients in awareness programs, workshops and support initiatives.
• Facilitate reconciliation sessions and review children’s case reports to ensure physical and psychological wellbeing.
• Develop and deliver family and youth awareness programs, including training for university students and pre‑marriage youth.
• Prepare periodic reports on counseling services, awareness activities and program outcomes while ensuring confidentiality.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Human Services or a related field.
