About the role
The Front Office Manager leads all front office functions at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, overseeing Bell Staff, Switchboard Operations, Guest Services/Front Desk and the Retail/Gift Shop. The role ensures smooth guest arrival and departure, drives guest and employee satisfaction, and maximizes the department’s financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Guest Services team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Supervise day‑to‑day front office operations, including bell, switchboard, front desk and retail areas.
- Maintain service standards, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Coordinate schedules, manage staffing levels and act as point of contact in the absence of team members.
- Monitor and achieve performance, budget and team goals, reporting results to senior management.
- Conduct training, recognition and performance reviews to build a motivated workforce.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure integrated service delivery.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar front office or guest services leadership role (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
- Innovative, proactive, reliable and able to work both independently and within a team.
