General Services Manager (UAE National)

About the role

The General Services Manager will lead the company’s General Services function, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery of facilities management, office administration, workplace services and transportation. The role reports to senior leadership and aligns service delivery with organisational standards and business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee day‑to‑day general services operations, including facilities, maintenance, office support and transportation.
• Manage third‑party vendors, contracts and compliance, monitoring service quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Monitor operating budgets, track performance metrics and prepare regular reports with improvement recommendations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance across all workplace services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Public Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in general services, facilities management or related support functions.
• 3‑5 years of managerial experience with direct accountability for service delivery and vendor coordination.
• Proven track record in budget monitoring, process improvement and compliance oversight.
• Experience working in the UAE, preferably within government‑related or corporate environments.
